Journal of geomagnetism and geoelectricity, 1991 Recent measurements of the relative temporal variations of solar UV radiation are reviewed. The long-term increase in solar UV irradiance during the rise of solar cycle 22 through April 1990 is comparable to the decrease from the solar cycle 21 peak in late 1981 to the 1986 minimum.

Defects Dynamic in Photo‐Excited CeO2 and their Influence on CO2 Photoreduction
Advanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.X‐ray photoelectron spectroscopy study under light excitation is presented to track the defect dynamic (Ce4+ to Ce3+) in CeO2. Surface enhanced Raman spectroscopy confirmed the key role of Ce3+ states in controlling charge and energy transfer across the CeO2‐dye molecule interface.
