Stabilizing Electrochemical Interfaces With Multifunctional Cobalt Nitride Layers
Cobalt nitrides emerged recently as an interesting class of earth‐abundant oxygen evolution catalysts. Herein, plasma‐enhanced atomic layer deposition is used to synthesize multifunctional cobalt nitride layers that simultaneously protect and catalytically activate photoelectrode surfaces.

Planning for the Impact of Distributed Solar Energy on the Grid
The behaviour of single installations of solar energy systems is well understood; however, what happens at an aggregated location, such as a distribution substation, when output of groups of installations cumulate is not so well understood.

10Be as an indicator of solar variability and climate
The atmospheric production rate of the cosmogenic isotope 10Be is modulated by the solar wind. Spectral analysis of a 560 year long 10Be concentration record from a Greenland ice core shows that this modulation process was active at all times even during

Parallel wiring of bioelectrochemical devices with conventional generators unexpectedly boosts output. A biophotovoltaic paired with a solar cell delivers up to 50% more power at low loads than their separate contributions; a plant microbial fuel cell shows similar current gains.

Transducers convert physical signals into electrical and optical representations, yet each mechanism is bounded by intrinsic trade‐offs across bandwidth, sensitivity, speed, and energy. This review maps transduction mechanisms across physical scale and frequency, showing how heterogeneous integration and multiphysics co‐design transform isolated ...

This paper examines the acceptability of two variability metrics, i.e., universal variability index (UVI) and natural variability index (NVI) for quantifying the variation of solar irradiance and PV power output under multiple timescales.

This study explores how machine learning models, trained on small experimental datasets obtained via Phase Doppler Anemometry (PDA), can accurately predict droplet size (D32) in ultrasonic spray coating (USSC). By capturing the influence of ink complexity (solvent, polymer, nanoparticles), power, and flow rate, the model enables precise droplet control

The area distribution of solar magnetic bright points
Magnetic bright points (MBPs) are among the smallest observable objects on the solar photosphere. A combination of G-band observations and numerical simulations is used to determine their area distribution. An automatic detection algorithm, employing one-

Chemically Doped Conductive Polymers for Wearable Health Monitoring
Among conductive polymers, poly(3,4‐ethylenedioxythiophene):poly(styrenesulfonate) (PEDOT:PSS), polyaniline (PANI), and polypyrrole (PPy) are the most studied and applied. Chemical doping significantly boosts intrinsic conductivity and mechanical robustness.
