Solenoids are inverse limit spaces over regular covering maps of closed manifolds. M.C. McCord has shown that solenoids are topologically homogeneous and that they are principal bundles with a profinite structure group.

The Heyde Theorem on a-adic Solenoids [PDF]
We prove the following analogue of the Heyde theorem for a-adic solenoids. Let ξ1, ξ2 be independent random variables taking values in an a-adic solenoid Σa and with distributions μ1, μ2. Let αj , βj be topological automorphisms of Σa such that β1α −1 1 ±

In Situ 3D Bioprinting: Impact of Cross‐Linking on the Adhesive Properties of Hydrogels
In situ 3D bioprinting enables the direct deposition of cell‐laden, adhesive biomaterials for on‐site tissue regeneration. This review provides a comprehensive overview of how cross‐linking influences the bioadhesive properties of hydrogels used in 3D bioprinting, highlighting cross‐linking triggers, bioadhesion mechanisms, polymer interpenetration ...

Ergodic solenoids and generalized currents
We introduce the concept of solenoid as an abstract laminated space. We do a thorough study of solenoids, leading to the notion of ergodic and uniquely ergodic solenoids.

The RFOFO Ionization Cooling Ring for Muons
Practical ionization cooling rings could lead to lower cost or improved performance in neutrino factory or muon collider designs. The ring modeled here uses realistic three-dimensional fields.

Cylindrical magnets and ideal solenoids [PDF]
Both wire-wound solenoids and cylindrical magnets can be approximated as ideal azimuthally symmetric solenoids. We present an exact solution for the magnetic field of an ideal solenoid in an easy to use form.

ABSTRACT Traditional wearable exoskeletons rely on rigid structures, which limit comfort, flexibility, and everyday usability. This work introduces the fundamental technologies to create the first soft, lightweight, intelligent textile‐based exoskeletons (Texoskeletons) built using 1D sensors and actuators.

A green, freeform manufacturing approach that utilizes robust aqueous two‐phase systems to create intricate and scalable photonic structures and non‐planar mechanochromic hydrogel actuators from plant‐based hydroxypropyl cellulose. This approach broadens the structural possibilities of sustainable photonic devices and mechanochromic systems, offering ...

Mechanism of electron cloud clearing in the accumulator ring of the Spallation Neutron Source
We describe a mechanism using clearing electrodes and solenoids to remove the electron cloud in the Spallation Neutron Source’s accumulator ring. Simulation indicates that strong multipacting could happen at median clearing fields.
