This study addresses silicon anode degradation using an engineered nSi/Gr/C dual‐carbon matrix. By restricting SEI infiltration, the architecture redirects silicon agglomeration into a beneficial structural self‐adaptive activation. During cycling, silicon nanoparticles self‐organize into a resilient nanoporous sponge. This dynamic network accommodates

Controlling Proton Migration in Oxide Heterostructures by Interfacial Chemical Potential Mismatch
Interfacial reconstruction of the proton chemical potential enables control of proton migration in oxide heterostructures. In TiO2/VO2 heterostructures, we found that increasing the TiO2 capping layer thickness by only several nanometers modulates the thermal stability of protons inserted into VO2.

Solid-polymer-electrolyte fuel cells [PDF]
A transport model for polymer electrolytes is presented, based on concentrated solution theory and irreversible thermodynamics. Thermodynamic driving forces are developed, transport properties are identified and experiments devised. Transport number of water in Nafion 117 membrane is determined using a concentration cell.

A Ti3C2@TiO2 heterostructure has been successfully fabricated by an in situ oxidation approach. The as‐fabricated Ti3C2@TiO2‐based photodetector exhibits narrow‐spectrum response with excellent stability. It also realizes sensitive Cr(VI) detection in a large concentration range of 10−12–10−6 M with an ultra‐low detection limit of 7.6 × 10−12 M ...

Sodium Polymer Electrolytes: A Review
Lithium-based electrolytes are, at least from a thermodynamic standpoint, the most suitable ion-transport materials for energy storage systems. However, lithium-based ionic conductors suffer from safety concerns, and the limited availability of lithium ...

Fluorene‐functionalized spiro‐phenothiazine (PTZ‐Fl) exhibits strong Li+ affinity and thermal stability, enabling a PCE of 25.75% in small‐area cells and 22.07% in 25 cm2 modules. Under ISOS‐L3 conditions, PTZ‐Flbased devices retain over 80% efficiency after 1000 hours, demonstrating superior stability and scalability compared to spiro‐OMeTAD for next ...
