Solid polymer electrolyte CO2 reduction
Energy Conversion and Management, 1995Abstract Solid polymer electrolyte was applied to CO 2 reduction. A zero-gap system with an anion exchange membrane and a porous PTFE sheet deposited solid electrolyte, and a water supply system from the anodic side by back-diffusion through the membrane were effective in the reaction.

Electrochemical sensors with solid polymer electrolytes
Analytica Chimica Acta, 1999Electrochemical sensors with an electrode system formed on a solid polymer electrolyte (spe) enable detection of substances in poorly conductive liquids and in gases and can be constructed either with a liquid phase as a part of the sensor system, or as solid-state sensors.

Solid Polymer Electrolyte Photovoltaic Cell
Journal of The Electrochemical Society, 1982Solid photoelectrochemical cells are described based on PEO-KI/I/sub 2/ electrolytes, n-Si/Pt/PPy photoanodes, and conductive tin-oxide glass counter electrodes. The performance of the present devices is limited by a high series resistance in the polymer film. 22 refs.

Development and Investigation of Solid Polymer Electrolytes
International Polymer Science and Technology, 2011A solid polymer electrolyte based on fluorine-containing polysulphone has been developed that is superior in electrical conductivity to existing analogues. The electrolyte possesses high stability and inertness in relation to the electrodes of lithium sources of electric current and ensures reversibility of the charge–discharge process of metallic ...

Polyethylene glycol as a solid polymer electrolyte
The Twelfth Annual Battery Conference on Applications and Advances, 2002Polymer electrolytes were prepared from polyethylene glycol (PEG)-lithium perchlorate complexes and characterized at a stainless steel electrode using a variety of electrochemical techniques. The charge transfer process was affected by the oxide film on the stainless steel electrode surface in the early stages of redox processes.

Solid‐State Batteries with Polymer Electrolytes
2020Expectations on solid-state lithium batteries are at their highest as they are seen as a “next-generation” technology, although solid polymer electrolytes have already enabled the commercialization of electrical vehicles for almost 10 years. These are powered by lithium metal batteries and use a polyethylene oxide (PEO)-based electrolyte. Thus, after a

Conducting Polymer-Clays and Solid Electrolytes
2007Abstract Research on clay-based polymer nanocomposites (CPN) is a field of increasing interest from many different points of view that are not exclusively directed towards improving mechanical properties of plastic materials. Rather, significant interest lies also in systems containing functionalities such as electrical conductivity ...
