Optical Solutions of Schrödinger Equation Using Extended Sinh–Gordon Equation Expansion Method

open access: yesFrontiers in Physics, 2020
In this paper, we investigated the non-linear Schrödinger equation (NLS) to extract optical soliton solutions by implementing the extended Sinh–Gordon equation expansion method (ShGEEM).

Solitonic solutions and gravitational solitons: an overview

open access: yes, 2021
In this work we intend to discuss the solitonic solutions of Einstein's field equations in vacuum by constructing the solution to N solitons and studying some aspects of it. In conclusion, it will be shown how the Kerr black hole can be interpreted as a soliton solution in the case of axial symmetry.

Darboux Transformation and Soliton Solution of the Nonlocal Generalized Sasa–Satsuma Equation

open access: yesMathematics, 2023
This paper aims to seek soliton solutions for the nonlocal generalized Sasa–Satsuma (gSS) equation by constructing the Darboux transformation (DT). We obtain soliton solutions for the nonlocal gSS equation, including double-periodic wave, breather-like ...

Novel soliton solutions and localized structures of KdV equation

open access: yesResults in Physics, 2023
A (1 + 1)-dimensional Korteweg-de Vries (KdV) equation is studied. Using the extended Tanh-function method, the analytical soliton solutions are obtained by symbolic calculation, and the localized coherent structures containing the compacton, the peakon,

Comments on whether nonlinear fractional partial differential equations have soliton solutions

open access: yesPartial Differential Equations in Applied Mathematics, 2022
It is well known that many nonlinear integer-order partial differential equations (PDEs) have soliton solutions, this is an indisputable fact in the field of soliton theory.

Resonant line wave soliton solutions and interaction solutions for (2+1)-dimensional nonlinear wave equation

open access: yesResults in Physics, 2021
Based on the N-soliton solutions, the resonant line wave soliton and interaction solutions are derived through some constraints in the (2+1)-dimensional nonlinear wave equation. General resonant line wave soliton solutions are firstly presented and their

The Rational Solutions and Quasi-Periodic Wave Solutions as well as Interactions of N-Soliton Solutions for 3 + 1 Dimensional Jimbo-Miwa Equation

open access: yesAdvances in Mathematical Physics, 2016
The exact rational solutions, quasi-periodic wave solutions, and N-soliton solutions of 3 + 1 dimensional Jimbo-Miwa equation are acquired, respectively, by using the Hirota method, whereafter the rational solutions are also called algebraic solitary ...

Soliton Solutions for Quasilinear Schrödinger Equations [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Applied Mathematics, 2013
Summary: By using a change of variables, we get new equations, whose respective associated functionals are well defined in \(H^1(\mathbb R^N)\) and satisfy the geometric hypotheses of the mountain pass theorem. Using this fact, we obtain a nontrivial solution.

On Solutions of an Extended Nonlocal Nonlinear Schrödinger Equation in Plasmas

open access: yesMathematics, 2020
The parity-time symmetric nonlocal nonlinear Schrödinger equation with self-consistent sources (PTNNLSESCS) is used to describe the interaction between an high-frequency electrostatic wave and an ion-acoustic wave in plasmas.
