Local infection after placement of percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy tubes: a prospective study evaluating risk factors. [PDF]

open access: yesCan J Gastroenterol, 2008
BACKGROUND: Due to its high efficacy and technical simplicity, percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy (PEG) has gained wide‐spread use. Local infection, occurring in approximately 2% to 39% of procedures, is the most common complication in the short term. Risk factors for local infection are largely unknown and therefore – apart from calculated antibiotic

Boys, girls, and everyone else: Ontario public school board responses to gender diversity

open access: yesCanadian Review of Sociology/Revue canadienne de sociologie, Volume 60, Issue 4, Page 686-707, November 2023., 2023
Abstract Trans and nonbinary youth issue a challenge to K‐12 schools, which regularly assume gender is binary and immutable. Effect of adding azithromycin to the antimalarials used for seasonal malaria chemoprevention on the nutritional status of African children

open access: yesTropical Medicine &International Health, Volume 25, Issue 6, Page 740-750, June 2020., 2020
Abstract Objectives Mass administration of azithromycin has reduced mortality in children in sub‐Saharan Africa but its mode of action is not well characterised. A recent trial found that azithromycin given alongside seasonal malaria chemoprevention was not associated with a reduction in mortality or hospital admissions in young children.

Prevalence of High Epworth Sleepiness Scale Scores in a Rural Population

open access: yesCanadian Respiratory Journal, Volume 19, Issue 2, Page e10-e14, 2012., 2012

Genotypic Investigation of Clostridium difficile in Prince Edward Island

open access: yesCanadian Journal of Infectious Diseases and Medical Microbiology, Volume 19, Issue 6, Page 409-412, 2008., 2008
Clostridium difficile is an important cause of disease in Canada; however, little information is available about the disease in the Maritime provinces. Socio‐Residential Inequalities and Inequalities at Elementary School: Repetition in French‐Speaking African Countries

open access: yesAfrican Development Review, Volume 37, Issue 4, December 2025.

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences, Volume 32, Issue 4, Page 193-262, 2002., 2002

Introduction: Beyond public reason Introduction : Par‐delà la raison publique

open access: yesJournal of the Royal Anthropological Institute, Volume 31, Issue 4, Page 965-983, December 2025.
This introduction situates the special issue within longstanding debates on liberal public reason, tracing its Enlightenment roots through Habermas and Rawls to contemporary political dilemmas. It highlights how anthropology has revealed the exclusions embedded in public reason's universalist claims, particularly for those marginalized by culture, race,

Etude de la Conduction Ionique du βPbF2

open access: yesActive and Passive Electronic Components, Volume 2, Issue 1, Page 55-59, 1975., 1974
Measurements were made with sintered samples in vacuum at 10−5 torr. Voltages of frequencies varying between 0.1 and 5 × 104 Hz at different temperatures (300 to 500 K) were used. The impedance diagrams show two regions. 1) a circular diagram in the high frequency region. 2) a poorly defined diagram in the lower frequency region.
