Solution-combustion synthesis and eletroconductivity of CaZrO3
International Journal of Self-Propagating High-Temperature Synthesis, 2015Solution-combustion synthesis and electroconductivity of calcium zirconate with glycine used as a fuel were explored. The reaction temperature was measured as a function of fuel to oxidant ratio (φ). Displacement of maximum combustion temperature T m toward φ > 1.0 was observed.

Solution Combustion Synthesis of Calcium Hydroxyapatite Nanoparticles
Transactions of the Indian Ceramic Society, 2004Nanoparticles of calcium hydroxyapatite, Ca10(PO4)6(OH)2, (HA) an important material for biomedical applications and other non-medical uses were synthesized by combustion in the aqueous system Ca-nitrate—diammonium hydrogen orthophos-phate-urea. The combustion behaviour and phase evolution with respect to the Ca/P atom ratio in the starting materials ...

Solution combustion synthesis of nanostructured molybdenum carbide
Journal of Nanoparticle Research, 2018A novel approach for the preparation of molybdenum carbide by solution combustion synthesis (SCS) combined with subsequent programmed heating of SCS products was proposed using ammonium heptamolybdate (AHM) and organic reducers (glycine, alanine, glucose, etc.) as precursors.

Alumina–zirconia–yttria nanocomposites prepared by solution combustion synthesis
Ceramics International, 2006Abstract Nanostructured zirconia toughened alumina composite has been prepared by solution combustion synthesis. Urea has been used as sacrificial fuel and metal nitrates as precursor reagents. A traditional composition for the final ceramic–ceramic composite has been chosen: 20 vol.% of t-zirconia partially stabilized with 3 mol% of yttria dispersed

Solution combustion synthesis of MgAl2O4 using fuel mixtures
Materials Research Bulletin, 2008The paper reveals a new perspective concerning the rational fuel selection and the logical elaboration of the recipes for the MgAl2O4 solution combustion synthesis. It was shown that Mg(NO3)2·6H2O and Al(NO3)3·9H2O exhibit different behavior with respect to urea, glycine and β-alanine. Urea proved to be the most adequate fuel for Al(NO3)3·9H2O, while β-

Spray Solution Combustion Synthesis of Metallic Hollow Microspheres
The Journal of Physical Chemistry C, 2016A spray solution combustion synthesis method has been developed to produce hollow spherical metal nanostructured particles. In this approach, combustion reactions in the liquid solution contribute 100% of the overall energy released during the synthesis process without the involvement of an external gaseous flame.

Microwave-assisted solution combustion synthesis of Fe3O4 powders
Ceramics International, 2017Abstract Magnetite (Fe 3 O 4 ) powders were synthesized by solution combustion method at different fuel to oxidant ratios (ϕ = 0.5, 0.75, 1 and 1.5) using conventional and microwave ignition. The ignition method and fuel content affected the phase evolution, microstructure and magnetic properties of Fe 3 O 4 powders as characterized by X-ray ...

Solution-combustion synthesis of Tb3+-doped Y3Al5O12 nanoparticles
Journal of Luminescence, 2009Abstract Nano-sized YAG:Tb powder phosphors were prepared by a solution-combustion method, using the general inorganic salts as starting materials. The X-ray diffraction (XRD) measurements showed that the precursor can be well-crystallized at 900 °C.

CTAB-assisted solution combustion synthesis of LiFePO4 powders
Journal of Sol-Gel Science and Technology, 2019Cetyltrimethylammonium bromide (CTAB) was used as fuel in solution combustion synthesis of LiFePO4 powders at various fuel contents (ϕ = 1, 2, and 3). Both conventional and microwave heating methods were applied for ignition of the precursor solution. The slow combustion reaction rate characterized by thermal analysis guaranteed the direct formation of
