On the cohomology of solvable Leibniz algebras
This paper is a sequel to J. Feldvoss and F. Wagemann: On Leibniz cohomology, (2021), where we mainly consider semisimple Leibniz algebras. It turns out that the analogue of the Hochschild-Serre spectral sequence for Leibniz cohomology cannot be applied ...

4d/2d Correspondence: Instantons and W-Algebras [PDF]
In this thesis, we study the 4d/2d correspondence of Alday-Gaiotto-Tachikawa, which relates the class of 4-dimensional N=2 gauge theories (theories of class S) to a 2-dimensional conformal field theory. The 4d gauge theories are obtained by compactifying

Over the past 25 years, I have been immersed in research in Algebra and more particularly in ring theory. I embarked on writing this book on Smarandache rings (Srings) specially to motivate both ring theorists and Smarandache algebraists to develop and ...

Enveloping skewfields of the nilpotent positive part and the Borel subsuperalgebra of osp(1,2n)
International audienceWe study an analogue of the Gelfand-Kirillov property for some Lie superalgebras. More precisely, we consider in the classical simple orthosymplectic Lie superalgebra osp(1, 2n) of dimension n 2 + 3n the positive nilpotent ...

Coulomb branch algebras via symplectic cohomology
Abstract Let (M¯,ω)$(\bar{M}, \omega)$ be a compact symplectic manifold with convex boundary and c1(TM¯)=0$c_1(T\bar{M})=0$. Suppose that (M¯,ω)$(\bar{M}, \omega)$ is equipped with a convex Hamiltonian G$G$‐action for some connected, compact Lie group G$G$.

ABSTRACT We provide full details of a BV formulation of N=1$\mathcal N=1$ supergravity in 10 dimensions, to all orders in fermions, built from the generalised geometry description of the theory. In contrast to standard treatments, we introduce neither the degrees of freedom corresponding to orthonormal frames for the metric nor the local Lorentz ...

Abstract String theory has strong implications for cosmology, implying the absence of a cosmological constant, ruling out single‐field slow‐roll inflation, and that black holes decay. The origins of these statements are elucidated within the string‐theoretical swampland programme.

ABSTRACT In this paper, we continue the development of the Cartan neural networks programme, launched with three previous publications, by focusing on some mathematical foundational aspects that we deem necessary for our next steps forward. The mathematical and conceptual results are diverse and span various mathematical fields, but the inspiring ...

Sublinear bilipschitz equivalence and the quasiisometric classification of solvable Lie groups
Abstract We prove a product theorem for sublinear bilipschitz equivalences which generalizes the classical work of Kapovich, Kleiner, and Leeb on quasiisometries between product spaces. We employ our product theorem to distinguish up to quasiisometry certain families of solvable groups which share the same dimension, cone‐dimension and Dehn function ...

Fusion systems related to polynomial representations of SL2(q)$\operatorname{SL}_2(q)$
Abstract Let q$q$ be a power of a fixed prime p$p$. We classify up to isomorphism all simple saturated fusion systems on a certain class of p$p$‐groups constructed from the polynomial representations of SL2(q)$\operatorname{SL}_2(q)$, which includes the Sylow p$p$‐subgroups of GL3(q)$\mathrm{GL}_3(q)$ and Sp4(q)$\mathrm{Sp}_4(q)$ as special cases.
