Clinical Outcomes of Gradual Corticosteroid Tapering for Immune Checkpoint Inhibitor‐Induced Liver Injury

open access: yesHepatology Research, EarlyView.
Patients with severe ICI‐induced liver injury are commonly treated with corticosteroids, but the optimal tapering strategy remains uncertain. In this study, a gradual corticosteroid tapering strategy based partly on Japanese clinical practice for autoimmune hepatitis was associated with a low rate of relapse and enabled many patients to safely resume ...

SynapTrack: An automated tool for synapse quantification

open access: yesJournal of Microscopy, EarlyView.
Abstract Reliable synapse quantification remains challenging, particularly in high‐throughput fluorescence imaging workflows. Here we present SynapTrack, a fully automated FIJI/ImageJ‐based tool for quantifying synapses in cultured neurons and brain tissue sections with minimal user intervention.

Neurotrophic extracellular matrix proteins promote neuronal and iPSC astrocyte progenitor cell‐ and nano‐scale process extension for neural repair applications

open access: yesJournal of Anatomy, Volume 246, Issue 4, Page 585-601, April 2025.
The extracellular matrix plays a critical role in modulating cell behaviour in the central nervous system influencing neural cell morphology and growth. However, a better understanding of the impact of individual matrix proteins on both neurons and astrocytes is critical for advancing the development of matrix‐based neural repair strategies.
