Computation‐Guided Tunnel Engineering Enhances O2 Transport and H2O2 Resistance of Fe(II)/α‐Ketoglutarate‐Dependent Dioxygenases

This study presents a computational tunnel engineering strategy in Fe(II)/α‐ketoglutarate‐dependent dioxygenases (αKGDs) to enhance oxygen (O2) transport, an essential molecule for αKGDs, and limit hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) entry, an inhibitor from the αKG supply system.

ANXA2+ Small Extracellular Vesicles Drive Chemoresistance in Anaplastic Thyroid Cancer by Promoting XRCC5 Lactylation and Enhancing Non‐Homologous End‐Joining Repair

ANXA2+ sEVs promote cisplatin resistance in ATC by stabilizing the SRC/LDHA interaction, increasing LDHA phosphorylation and activity, and lactate production. Elevated lactate levels promote KAT5‐mediated lactylation of XRCC5 at lysine 265, enhancing its binding to XRCC6.

CXCL10/SLC11A1 Axis Exacerbates Septic Liver Injury by Regulating Neutrophil Extracellular Traps Formation to Drive Macrophage Pro‑Inflammatory Polarization

In sepsis‐induced liver injury, marked neutrophil infiltration correlates with disease severity. Neutrophil SLC11A1 drives intracellular Fe2+ and ROS via the Fenton reaction, promoting NETs formation. Hepatocyte‐derived CXCL10 recruits neutrophils and activates the JAK/STAT1/SLC11A1 axis, enhancing NETs‐mediated inflammation.
