State of the Art of Low‐Frequency Acoustic Modulation: Intensity Enhancement and Directional Control

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
High intensity low‐frequency sound sources hold significant value in many fields. However, their long wavelength, strong penetrability, and tendency to diffract make direction control and intensity enhancement challenging. Acoustic generators and metamaterial‐based acoustic devices still face issues such as low energy efficiency, poor directional ...

Effects of dimethyl ether on soot formation in premixed laminar flame by laser induced incandescence method

open access: yesJournal of Traffic and Transportation Engineering (English ed. Online), 2020
The control of PM emission is a rather complicated problem to be solved both for diesel engine and GDI engines. There are vast factors affecting PM emission, the fuel, A/F, combustion temperature and so on.

Laser‐Induced Graphene from Commercial Inks and Dyes

open access: yesAdvanced Science, Volume 12, Issue 14, April 10, 2025.
Dyes are identified as a new class of precursor for Laser‐Induced Graphene (LIG). The conversion via laser‐induced pyrolysis and resulting LIG are systematically characterized. A new methodology called “Paint & Scribe” is introduced which allows the functionalization of any wettable surface with LIG and an integration with printed and flexible ...

Sustainable Recovery and Reuse of Hard Carbon From Scrap and End‐of‐Life Sodium‐Ion Batteries

open access: yesAdvanced Energy Materials, EarlyView.
As sodium‐ion battery (SIB) technology advances, sustainable end‐of‐life recycling is crucial. This study presents a direct recycling method for hard carbon (HC) using low‐temperature binder negation at 300 °C under nitrogen. Retaining structural integrity, recycled HC achieves 86–89% capacity retention over 200 cycles.
