A Comprehensive Review of Waste‐Derived Materials for Solar Still Performance Enhancement
Solar desalination reduces energy use and produces freshwater sustainably, but its productivity is limited and cannot meet rising demand. Thus, solar desalination system improvements are sought to boost water productivity. Waste materials are abundantly available and burden the environment, making them low‐cost enhancers for solar desalination systems.

Ceria‐Zirconia Supported Gold Nanoparticles for CO and Soot Oxidation
ABSTRACT This study introduces a gold nanoparticles catalyst (AuNPs) supported on ceria‐zirconia oxide, prepared by deposition‐precipitation (Au/CZ‐dep) and chemical reduction (Au/CZ‐red). The as‐prepared catalysts were tested in CO oxidation by O2 and soot oxidation under different oxidizing atmospheres (O2, NO2+NO+O2).

Mechanistic Kinetic Modeling of the Selective Methanol Oxidation Based on Christiansen Mathematics
The article provides a mechanistic description of reaction rates for the selective methanol oxidation to green oxygenates. For this, a detailed reaction mechanism is provided based on catalytic cycles. The catalytic cycles are translated into mechanistic rate expressions using Christiansen mathematics.

Subsistence Through Disappearance: Theology of the Unseen in the Films of Michelangelo Antonioni
ABSTRACT The present study contends that the theology of Michelangelo Antonioni's 1960s cinema is structured by a reductio ad absurdum logic, whereby the presence of certain qualities is proven by the portrayal of their absence. It is argued that Antonioni's intention to show what is by specifying what is not may have been rooted in a modernist ...
