Siloxane Decomposition and Clustering in Atmospheric Pressure Non‐Thermal Plasma Discharge
Atmospheric‐pressure He/HMDSO plasmas convert HMDSO to PDMS deposits. At lower power, mass growth is suppressed, while small silicon‐containing fragments and hydrocarbon radicals dominate. Stable small hydrocarbons are formed at higher power, reflecting enhanced fragmentation and recombination pathways.

China's Contribution to Arctic Black Carbon Declined From 2009 to 2022
Abstract Black carbon (BC) aerosol is an important driver of Arctic warming, and China used to be a major contributor to the Arctic BC burden through long‐range atmospheric transport. Here we show that China's contribution declined significantly from 2009 to 2022, primarily due to reductions in domestic BC emissions following the implementation of ...

Terrestrial Analogs to Titan for Geophysical Research
Abstract Saturn's moon Titan exhibits remarkable parallels to the Earth in many geophysical and geological processes not found elsewhere in the solar system at the present day. These include a nitrogen atmosphere with a condensible gas—methane—replacing the Earth's water, leading to an active meteorology with rainfall and surface manifestations ...

Aerosol and NOx emission factors and submicron particle number size distributions in two road tunnels with different traffic regimes [PDF]
Measurements of aerosol particle number size distributions (18–700 nm), mass concentrations (PM2.5 and PM10) and NOx were performed in the Plabutsch tunnel, Austria, and in the Kingsway tunnel, United Kingdom.

Particle Emissions from Aviation: Microphysics, Chemistry, and Climate Impact
The physical and chemical properties of particles emitted from aviation were identified under cruise altitude conditions and with more detailed methods during ground-test studies.

Abstract Ship emissions from high sulfur residual fuel oil (RFO) are a major source of air pollution in coastal and marine environments. Emissions include sulfur oxides as well as fine particulate matter (PM2.5) enriched in vanadium (V) and nickel (Ni).

Soot particles filtration - humidity influence
One of the most frequently use methods to purify air contaminated by particles in many industrial processes is filter media. Although the performance of filter media is relatively well documented under standard conditions (humidity and ambient temperature), few studies are interested in the interaction between moisture and the deposition of particles ...
