Long‐Term Opioids in Gout: A Matched Cohort Study From the Veterans Health Administration
Objective Though used frequently to treat flare, risk of long‐term opioid exposure in gout has not been well defined. In this study, we examined the hypothesis that people with gout are more likely than individuals without gout to be prescribed long‐term opioids over time.

Objective We assessed whether circulating adipokines are associated with incident fractures in patients with rheumatoid arthritis (RA). Methods Three adipokines (adiponectin, leptin, and fibroblast growth factor [FGF]‐21) were measured using banked enrollment serum from participants in a longitudinal RA cohort.

Desnakification of mesh sorting algorithms [PDF]
In all recent near-optimal sorting algorithms for meshes, the packets are sorted with respect to some snake-like indexing. In this paper we present deterministic algorithms for sorting with respect to the more natural row-major indexing. For 1-1 sorting on an n × n mesh, we give an algorithm that runs in 2 · n+o(n) steps, matching the distance bound ...

Objective The purpose was to evaluate a biomarker score consisting of MUC5B rs35705950 promoter variant, plasma matrix metalloproteinase (MMP)‐7, and serum anti‐malondialdehyde‐acetaldehyde (anti‐MAA) antibody for RA‐associated interstitial lung disease risk stratification. Methods Using a multicenter cohort of US veterans with RA, we performed a cross‐

A Novel Sorting Route Planning Method for Irregular Sheet Parts in the Shipbuilding Process
Due to the complexity of shipyards’ operating scenes and the inconsistency of ship parts’ type and size, current sorting operations for ship parts mainly rely on laborers, resulting in weak control over the production process and key nodes.

Aims We investigated whether a diagnosis of rheumatoid arthritis (RA) affects the quality of inpatient acute myocardial infarction (AMI) care and long‐term mortality post‐AMI. Methods We analysed data from 784,091 adults, 6,047 with a diagnosis of RA, from England and Wales hospitalised with AMI between 2005 and 2019 from the MINAP registry, linked ...
