Enhancing power transformer health assessment through dimensional reduction and ensemble approaches in Dissolved Gas Analysis

open access: yesIET Nanodielectrics, Volume 7, Issue 4, Page 321-333, December 2024.
This approach introduces a solution by generating synthetic data using Long Short‐Term Memory (LSTM). This strategy ensures data balance and contributes to the superior performance of the proposed model, surpassing the effectiveness of previous methods, encompassing Ratio methods, graphical methods, intelligent methods, and hybrid approaches.

A combined technique for power transformer fault diagnosis based on k‐means clustering and support vector machine

open access: yesIET Nanodielectrics, Volume 7, Issue 3, Page 175-187, September 2024.
A two‐step hybrid approach that combines human expertise and k‐means clustering, significantly improving the accuracy of power transformer fault diagnostic is presented. The proposal of a combined technique based on the SVM algorithm, which integrates the results of seven individual methods linked to the seven input vectors is studied.

Social strategies to access land influence crop diversity in northwestern Morocco

open access: yesPeople and Nature, Volume 6, Issue 2, Page 687-702, April 2024.
Abstract Much evidence supports the ecological and agronomic benefits of diversity, of both crops and environments, for building resilience and sustainability in agroecosystems. Farmers' knowledge about crop diversity is well‐documented, but aside from studies on how farmers exchange seeds and knowledge through networks, the interactions of social ...

Existence and exponential stability of solutions for transmission system with varying delay in R [PDF]

open access: yesMathematica Moravica, 2016
In the present paper we are going to consider in a one dimension bounded domain a transmission system with a varying delay. Under suitable assumptions on the weights of the damping and the delay terms, we prove the well-possedness and the uniqueness of ...
