Super‐Resolution and High‐Data‐Density Acoustic Meta‐Hologram via Amplitude and Phase Coupling

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A super‐resolution acoustic meta‐hologram utilizes amplitude‐phase coupling under energy conservation constraints to overcome the traditional diffraction limit. This conceptually advanced approach achieves high‐fidelity acoustic field reconstruction and dense information transmission, unlocking new potentials for high‐resolution acoustic imaging and ...

Halide Perovskite: A Rich Source of Thermal Insulator

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Halide perovskites exhibit ultralow thermal conductivity driven by intrinsic lattice softness and strong anharmonicity, falling below conventional defect‐engineering limits. Weak metavalent bonding, A‐site rattling, and dynamic octahedral tilting drive phonon scattering to the Ioffe–Regel limit, where wave‐like tunneling replaces particle‐like ...

Ultrafast Optoacoustics Reveals Intricate 3D Anisotropic Elasticity in Nanocrystalline Membranes

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Ultrafast optoacoustic spectroscopy combined with a Sagnac interferometer enables non‐contact, simultaneous characterization of thickness and the full three‐dimensional anisotropic elastic constants in freestanding nanocrystalline copper membranes. By capturing gigahertz Lamb waves and zero‐group‐velocity resonances followed by SAFE‐GA inversion, the ...

Absorption of Broadband Low‐Frequency Sound Beyond the Thermodynamics Limit: An Acoustic Resonator With Magnetic Bearing

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This work presents a magnetic‐bearing acoustic resonator that overcomes the thermodynamics limit of sound absorption. By introducing tunable negative stiffness, it achieves broadband low‐frequency absorption within a compact cavity, far exceeding the performance achievable by classic mass‐tuned designs.

Preparation and sound absorption performance of low‐carbon fly ash cenosphere plates

open access: yesInternational Journal of Ceramic Engineering & Science
A series of low‐carbon fly ash cenosphere plates was prepared using solid waste based cementitious material as binder through a simple process; meanwhile, effects of cenosphere's particle size and size distribution on microstructure and properties were ...

Stabilized Cubic GeTe With Matched Grain‐Boundary Networks and Band Convergence for High‐Performance Dual‐Mode Thermoelectric Devices

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
I‐doping stabilizes the cubic phase of GeTe and generates “electron‐transparent, phonon‐blocking” grain boundary networks while inducing valence‐band convergence. This synergistic structural‐electronic design enables effective electron‐phonon decoupling, achieving an exceptional average zTave of ∼1.62, a peak zT of ∼2.2, and enhanced mechanical ...

Theoretical and experimental investigation on the sound absorption performance of ultra-thin curled acoustic metasurface

open access: yesJournal of Low Frequency Noise, Vibration and Active Control
A simplified model of the absorption coefficient of traditional Helmholtz resonators (THR) was established, and the influence of different geometric parameters on the absorption coefficient of THR was analyzed.
