Efficient Sound Field Reconstruction with Conditional Invertible Neural Networks
In this study, we introduce a method for estimating sound fields in reverberant environments using a conditional invertible neural network (CINN). Sound field reconstruction can be hindered by experimental errors, limited spatial data, model mismatches, and long inference times, leading to potentially flawed and prolonged characterizations.

Evaluation of ambisonics decoding methods with experimental measurements
Ambisonics is a sound reproduction technique based on the decomposition of the sound field using spherical harmonics. The truncation in the number of coefficients used to recreate the sound field leads to reproduction artifacts which depend on the ...

Causal Spatio-Temporal Sound Field Reconstruction
In sound field control applications, it is commonly assumed that one has access to an accurate representation of the sound field in the region of interest. This is a problematic assumption since the reconstruction of a sound field from available microphone measurements is especially challenging in real-time applications where only causal measurements ...

Volumetric reconstruction of the sound field in a room from arbitrary acousto-optic projections
Acousto-optic sensing methods enable the measurement of sound, using the interaction between sound and light as the sensing principle. Specifically, acousto-optic tomography enables the reconstruction of sound fields across space and time.

Sound field reconstruction using a compact acoustics-informed neural network
Sound field reconstruction (SFR) augments the information of a sound field captured by a microphone array. Using basis function decomposition, conventional SFR methods are straightforward and computationally efficient but may require more microphones than needed to measure the sound field.
