Optimization of a Sour Water Stripping Plant Using Surrogate Models
2016Abstract In this work we present a methodology for the large scale optimization of complex chemical processes. In the proposal, processes have been simulated using modular simulators, where units are classified depending on their numerical noise and the CPU time needed to converge.

Utilization of Stripped Sour Water as Feed to DM Plant
SPE International Health, Safety, Environment and Sustainability Conference and ExhibitionThe Clean Sour Water generated in sour water treatment Unit is intended to be routed to the Demineralized Water system as per the original design. However, due to high conductivity levels in the stripped clean sour water (greater than 0.2 μS/cm), it is not diverted to Demineralized Water storage.

THERMODYNAMIC ISSUES IN DOWNHOLE SOUR GAS PURIFICATION BY WATER SCRUBBING
2015Natural gas, which is the cleanest of all fossil fuels, allows to satisfy the growing global demand for energy while reducing greenhouse gas emissions. It is well known that raw natural gas in reservoirs contains sour components such as carbon dioxide (CO2) and hydrogen sulfide (H2S).
