10.5 T In Vivo Head Imaging With Universal RF Shimming

open access: yesMagnetic Resonance in Medicine, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Purpose Brain MR imaging at 10.5 T ultra‐high field offers significant improvements in signal‐to‐noise ratio (SNR), but faces challenges with B1+ inhomogeneity. Parallel‐transmission (pTx) can be used to achieve a more uniform RF field distribution, but necessitates the use of B1+ calibration in the region of interest.

Quantitative Comparison of Multi‐Echo Spin Echo and Multi‐Echo Gradient Echo Myelin Water Imaging in a Panel of Mbp Enhancer‐Edited Mouse Lines

open access: yesMagnetic Resonance in Medicine, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Purpose To evaluate the correspondence between myelin water fraction (MWF) estimates derived from multi‐echo spin echo (MESE) and multi‐echo gradient echo (MGRE) imaging in fixed mouse brain tissue, using a panel of myelin basic protein (Mbp) enhancer‐edited mouse lines exhibiting graded hypomyelination.

Tax Spillovers under Separate Accounting and Formula Apportionment. [PDF]

open access: yes
It is observed in the real world that taxes matter for location decisions and that multinationals shift profits by transfer pricing. The US and Canada use Formula Apportionment (FA) to tax corporate income, and the EU is debating a switch from Separate ...

The Weak Core, Partition‐Based Universal Stability, and Their Risk Associations Through A Partial Order

open access: yesNaval Research Logistics (NRL), EarlyView.
ABSTRACT We are concerned with the stability of a transferable‐utility cooperative (TU) game. First, the concept of core can be weakened so that the blocking of changes is limited to only those with multilateral backings. This principle of consensual blocking, as well as the traditional core‐defining one of unilateral blocking and one straddling in ...

Towards improved source apportionment of anthropogenic methane sources

open access: yes, 2017
Methane has the second largest contribution to global radiative forcing impact of anthropogenic greenhouse gasses. Since 2007 its atmospheric growth rate, after a period of stability, has again been rising rapidly. Anthropogenic methane emissions hold a large mitigation potential, promoting efforts to curb emissions in accordance with the Paris ...
