Developmental Disorders in Children Recently Diagnosed With Cancer
ABSTRACT Neurocognitive deficits in adult survivors of childhood cancer are well established, but less is known about developmental disorders (DD) arising shortly after cancer diagnosis. Using 2016–2019 linked Ohio cancer registry and Medicaid data, we compared DD among 324 children with cancer and 606,913 cancer‐free controls.

Using SenseCam images in a multimodal fusion framework for route detection and localisation [PDF]
Problem of structuring location data is solved by proposing a framework for classifying the data into often-traversed routes. It does not rely on any one source of location information, but can fuse data from multimodal localisation sources: SenseCam ...

An index to characterize the spatial distribution of land use within watersheds and implications for river network nutrient removal and export [PDF]
The spatial distribution of land use and associated nutrient inputs may influence the efficacy of in-stream nutrient removal; however, the effect of source location on N removal and watershed N export has not been quantified.

ABSTRACT Background The delipid extracorporeal lipoprotein filter from plasma (DELP) treatment can effectively reduce blood lipid, increase blood flow, and improve neurological deficits in patients with acute ischemic stroke (AIS). However, its effect on vision and retinal microcirculation in stroke patients has never been reported.

Review on Structural Health Evaluation with Acoustic Emission
This review introduces several areas of importance in acoustic emission (AE) technology, starting from signal attenuation. Signal loss is a critical issue in any large-scale AE monitoring, but few systematic studies have appeared.

Microseismic Source Location Estimation Using Reverse Double-Difference Time Imaging
To locate microseismic sources, the reverse double-difference time imaging method is proposed in this paper. The traditional time-reversal imaging method requires an accurate velocity model.

The warm absorber in NGC 5548: The lean years [PDF]
We study the variability of the warm absorber and the gas responsible for the emission lines in the Seyfert 1 galaxy NGC 5548, in order to constrain the location and physical properties of these components.

ABSTRACT Introduction Cognitive impairment and exercise intolerance are common in dialysis patients. Cerebral perfusion and oxygenation play a major role in both cognitive function and exercise execution; HD session per se aggravates cerebral ischemia in this population. This study aimed to compare cerebral oxygenation and perfusion at rest and in mild

A retinotopic attentional trace after saccadic eye movements: evidence from event-related potentials [PDF]
Saccadic eye movements are a major source of disruption to visual stability, yet we experience little of this disruption. We can keep track of the same object across multiple saccades.
