Orientation invariant light source parameters

Optical Engineering, 1996
At present there is no common language for comparing two different light sources. Trying to quantify (or even to explain qualitatively) the difference in performance terms, for example, of an axial and a trans- verse filament, or a gas discharge tube and a light-emitting diode, or a gas lamp mantle and a laser, is like comparing apples and oranges.

VARIABLE PARAMETER POWER SOURCE

1967
Abstract : A variable parameter power source was designed and fabricated to provide a 30-kva 3-phase source of power with controllable voltage modulation, frequency modulation and harmonic content for the purpose of simulating these power characteristics as described in MIL-STD-704.

Parameter convergence in source localization

2016 IEEE Conference on Control Applications (CCA), 2016
A source localization problem which is nonlinear is converted to a structured-noise linear problem. An algorithm is proposed and its convergence has been established.

Source parameters of Koyna earthquakes, India

Bulletin of the Seismological Society of America, 1998
Abstract A seismic zone in southwestern India extending 30 km south from Koyna Dam has witnessed more than 150 earthquakes of M ≧ 4 and 10 of M ≧ 5 during the last 34 years. During August 1993 to December 1994, a spurt of earthquakes occurred in the vicinity of the newly impounded Warna reservoir, 25 km south of Koyna Dam. The epicenters

Semi-blind source parameter separation

1997
Independent Component Analysis (ICA) is a useful extension of standard Principal Component Analysis (PCA). The ICA model is utilized mainly in blind separation of unknown source signals from their linear mixtures. In some applications, the mixture coefficients are totally unknown, while some knowledge about temporal model exists.

Source Parameters and Their Determination

1979
A source of seismic waves (whether an earthquake or an explosion) is defined by the following parameters: 1. The latitude and longitude of the epicentre (i.e. the point on the earth’s surface located vertically above the source). 2. The depth of the source, or the focal depth (the source itself is called the focus or hypocentre).

Estimating the accuracy of source “parameters”

Bulletin of the Seismological Society of America, 1967
abstract This paper suggests a method for estimating the errors accompanying estimates of seismic source parameters. While the method is a general one, the data here are from 1962 and 1963 and special attention is given to a few regions, such as the Kuriles.

Parameter Identification for Photovoltaic Source Models

2012
Several methods for PV model parameter extraction are addressed in this chapter with reference to static models. The considered identification methods are mainly based on analytical or numerical solutions and use either the rated data given by the manufacturer or the experimental data directly measured at the PV source. A simplified method based on the
