Differences in source kitchens for lacustrine in-source and out-of-source hydrocarbon accumulations
Because of the differences of hydrocarbon accumulation between in-source and out-of-source oil pools, the demand for source kitchen is different. Based on the establishment of source-to-reservoir correlation in the known conventional accumulations, and ...

Contribution and significance of dispersed liquid hydrocarbons to reservoir formation
Oil expulsion rate of different types of source rock in geologic settings are estimated by modeling hydrocarbon generation and expulsion and examining the geological sections of different source-reservoir combinations.

Revising source rocks of the central part of Loglor structure according to one-dimensional petroleum system modeling (Andylakh field, the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia)) [PDF]
One-dimensional models of petroleum systems are widely used to reconstruct the process of the source rocks thermal evolution. The paper is aimed at the modeling in a well section of the Andylakh gas condensate field - the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia ...

Source Rock Evaluation by Pyrolysis-GC
Eighteen kerogen samples isolated from the Noshiro GS-1 cores (589-3, 510m) were examined by pyrolysis gas chromatography. Pristene (prist-1-ene) compound was detected in the pyrolyzates of all the kerogens, and the ratio of the pristene to C17 alkane (Pr=/C17) in the pyrogram decreased with increasing burial depth of the samples.

Translating whole‐genome doubling into precision medicine in cancer
Whole‐genome doubling creates a WGD‐positive tumor state characterized by persistent chromosomal instability, karyotypic diversification, and cellular stress. These same biological pressures drive aggressive tumor evolution while exposing therapeutic vulnerabilities, providing a rationale for WGD‐informed precision medicine. Whole‐genome doubling (WGD)

The cell‐autonomous roles of interferon type 1 vary based on duration and intensity. While acute, robust signaling results in cancer cell cytotoxic effects, sustained, low‐level signaling is associated with tumor‐promoting effects. This review summarizes current research of IFN‐1 in cancer and within the clinical setting, with an emphasis on female ...
