Abstract The social and economic changes in Georgia, Armenia and Azerbaijan since the breakup of the Soviet Union have caused great upheaval in libraries there. Libraries are currently undergoing wide-ranging reforms intended to make their collections more accessible and integrate themselves into the global information network.
