China is one of the largest consumers of wild animals for food and traditional Chinese medicine in the world. A large volume of illegal trade has been recorded in the primary cities, such as Hong Kong and Guangzhou, but the wildlife markets in secondary Chinese cities have not been investigated.

An idea of designing novel sensors is proposed by creating appropriate Schottky barriers and vacancies between isomorphous Core‐CuOii/ Shell‐CuOi secondary microspheres and enhancing catalytic and spill‐over effects, and electronegativity via spontaneous biphasic separation, self‐assembly, and trace‐Ni‐doping.

Self‐Immolative Activatable Nanoassembly toward Immuno‐Photodynamic Therapy in TME

A quinone methide‐gated, self‐immolative, H2O2‐responsive nano‐photosensitizer (Pyz/PS) is developed for targeted immuno‐photodynamic therapy. Pyz/PS selectively activates within tumor microenvironments, restores photosensitizer activity, generates ROS, and depletes intracellular GSH, enhancing oxidative stress.
