High Wet Deposition of Black Carbon over the Sichuan Basin of China

open access: yesAtmosphere, 2023
The wet deposition flux of black carbon (BC) over the Sichuan Basin is studied on the basis of the MERRA-2 data from 1981 to 2020, aiming at investigating high BC wet deposition flux in China in terms of long-term spatial-temporal trends and influences ...

A Gravity and Magnetic Study of the Structure Evolution of Sichuan Basin [PDF]

open access: yes, 2016
The Sichuan Basin and its adjacent area have attracted increasing research attention during the past decade. Although damaging earthquakes occurred in 2008, the natural gas potential in this region is also remarkable.

Study on Fluid Pressure in Tubing, Dynamic Stress in Reservoir, and Fracture Propagation Morphology During Variable‐Rate Hydraulic Fracturing

open access: yesEnergy Science &Engineering, EarlyView.
Variable‐rate hydraulic fracturing can induce unsteady flow in the tubing, thereby generating fluctuating fluid pressure near the bottom‐hole reservoir. Dynamic stress is generated in the reservoir under the action of fluctuating fluid pressure and propagates as stress waves.

Notable Impact of Paleotectonic Stress on Gold Mineralisation in the West Qinling Orogen

open access: yesGeological Journal, EarlyView.
By applying fuzzy clustering and multiple inverse methods, we systematically processed the data of vein and fault slip in this ore deposit to reveal the transition of orogenic geological environment and paleotectonic stress field. Our research results show two different stress states: the northwest–southeast extensional stress field and the northeast ...

Estimation Accuracy Obviously Increased of Soil Organic Carbon Content Based on Habitat Patches Scale Using Interpretable Machine Learning in Southwest China

open access: yesLand Degradation &Development, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Although machine learning models have been successfully applied to estimate soil organic carbon (SOC), the lack of interpretability research has resulted in the absence of mechanistic explanations for these models. Therefore, in this study, we adopted the following workflow: first, we divided the whole study area into several subregions using ...
