Vibrational Spectroscopy of Kenyaite and Magadiite in the Southern Urals
2019Spectroscopic (infrared, Raman) data and chemical composition are reported for the kenyaite (Na2Si22O41(OH)8 • 6H2O) and magadiite (NaSi7O13(OH)3 • H2O). Kenyaite dense white nodules were found in the dumps of exploration drill holes on the locality of “cacholong” at the Quarken district of the Orenburg region.
