Cosmetic emulsions contain complex mixtures of emulsifiers and emollients. A statistical simplex centroid experimental design, using separation velocity values from analytical centrifugation and formulation maps, facilitates the selection of emulsifiers and emollients to achieve high stability in cosmetic emulsions.
