Multilevel concatenated space-time block codes
2010 International Conference on System Science and Engineering, 2010An alternative design for constructing multilevel space-time codes is proposed. For a given space-time block code, we combine several component codes in conjunction with set partitioning of the expanded signal constellation according to the coding gain distance criterion.

Noncoherent space-time block coded modulation
2004 IEEE International Conference on Communications (IEEE Cat. No.04CH37577), 2004Unitary space-time modulation is well tailored for flat fading channels where the noncoherent receiver is used. In this paper, we propose a novel scheme of unitary space-time modulation, called noncoherent space-time block coded modulation, by using the set partitioning of signal sets and multilevel coding.

Asynchrony Resilient Space-Time Block Codes
2007 IEEE Information Theory Workshop, 2007We present and evaluate methods for space-time coding over non-colocated transmit antennas. The proposed designs generate space-time block codes (STBCs) via systematic transformations of existing orthogonal STBCs. With a controlled reduction in rate in the form of a circular prefix, the resulting codes allow the maximum space diversity to be harvested ...

Space time block codes with turbo codes
2011This paper aims to provide efficient solutions to improve the power efficiency, like implementation of schemes using MIMO (Multiple-Input Multiple-Output), with error correction codes. Thanks to the union of these two techniques is possible to obtain a low error probability with low power consumption. This paper shows STBC (Space Time Block Codes) with

High Rate Space Time Block Codes
IEICE Transactions on Communications, 2006High Rate Space-Time Block Codes (HR-STBCs) with greater than 1 symbol/transmission and simple decoding schemes are proposed. The HR-STBC demonstrates 3 dB E b /N 0 gain at BER = 10 -3 compared with the conventional STBC when three transmit antennas and two receive antennas are utilized.
