Conventional Space-Vector Modulation Techniques versus the Single-Phase Modulator for Multilevel Converters [PDF]

open access: yes, 2010
Space-vector modulation is a well-suited technique to be applied to multilevel converters and is an important research focus in the last 25 years. Recently, a single-phase multilevel modulator has been introduced showing its conceptual simplicity and

SVM-Based Channel Estimation and Data Detection for One-Bit Massive MIMO systems [PDF]

open access: yes, 2020
The use of low-resolution Analog-to-Digital Converters (ADCs) is a practical solution for reducing cost and power consumption for massive Multiple-Input-Multiple-Output (MIMO) systems.

Hierarchical Summary Statistics Encoding Across Primary Visual and Posterior Parietal Cortices

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study shows that mouse V1 simultaneously encodes the ensemble mean and variance of motion, providing a robust summary‐statistic representation that persists despite single‐neuron variability. These signals propagate to PPC, where they are transformed into abstract category representations during decision making.

Space Vector Modulation Methods with Modified Zero Vector Distribution for Electrical Vehicle Drives with Six-Phase Induction Motor Operating Under Direct Field-Oriented Control

open access: yesEnergies
This paper presents a Space Vector Modulation (SVM) method with a novel zero vector distribution system for electrical vehicle drives with a six-phase induction motor working under the Direct Field-Oriented Control (DFOC) method.

High Performance of Space Vector Modulation Direct Torque Control SVM-DTC Based on Amplitude Voltage and Stator Flux Angle

open access: yesResearch Journal of Applied Sciences, Engineering and Technology, 2013

Mitochondrial CircRNA CircMT‐RNR2 Safeguards Antioxidant Defense to Support Fibroblast Functions in Wound Repair

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
CircMT‐RNR2 promotes wound healing by enhancing fibroblast proliferation, migration, contraction, and extracellular matrix (ECM) production. It sustains mitochondrial redox balance by stabilizing the antioxidant protein PRDX3, thereby reducing ROS‐induced damage. In diabetic foot ulcers, hypoxia, hyperglycemia, and reduced FGF2 and EGF expression lower

Model Predictive Control With Space Vector Modulation Based on a Voltage Angle for Driving Open-End Winding IPMSM

open access: yesIEEE Access
This paper proposes a model predictive control with space vector modulation (MPC-SVM) method that is based on using a voltage angle to reduce ripple components in open-end winding interior permanent magnet synchronous motor (OEW-IPMSM).

Solid Harmonic Wavelet Bispectrum for Image Analysis

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
The Solid Harmonic Wavelet Bispectrum (SHWB), a rotation‐ and translation‐invariant descriptor that captures higher‐order (phase) correlations in signals, is introduced. Combining wavelet scattering, bispectral analysis, and group theory, SHWB achieves interpretable, data‐efficient representations and demonstrates competitive performance across texture,
