Advanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.In this work, diamonds with negative charged silicon‐vacancy (SiV−) centers have been designed for use as thermometers in biomedical applications. Multiparametric analysis of the emission characteristics of the SiV− centers provides extraordinary sensitivity for temperature detection in the physiological temperature range.

Advanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.A new class of photoresponsive liquid‐crystalline (LC) adhesives based on biomineral‐inspired organic/inorganic colloidal hybrids is reported. Volatile Relay Biosensing and Mobile Phone Imaging for Detection of Influenza Virus
Advanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.Detection of volatile organic compounds is performed via a coupled enzymatic assay with mobile phone detection of the signal.
