Tunable Dynamics via Dual‐Ion Modulation for Event‐based Data Processing Using a Highly Uniform and Self‐Rectifying Memristor Array

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Tunable dynamics of an interface‐type memristor array enabled by dual‐ion modulation through Ag nanoclusters are demonstrated. A 32 × 32 one‐resistor (1R) array exhibits 100% yield with high temporal/spatial uniformity (<3%) and a rectification ratio of 105.

Mechanically Adaptive Polyimide Interfaces for Stable High‐Voltage NCM–Sulfide All‐Solid‐State Batteries

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A mechanically adaptive polyimide interface dynamically stabilizes single‐crystal cathodes in sulfide all‐solid‐state batteries. By integrating robust chemical coordination with viscoelastic compliance, this smart coating suppresses parasitic reactions and accommodates cyclic volume expansion.

Targeting Golgi–STING Signaling to Reprogram Innate and Adaptive Immunity for the Treatment of Implant‐Associated Infections

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study presents an ultrasound‐responsive nanoplatform, CS‐BT@MZ@NEs, with a BaTiO3/Mn‐Zif‐8 core and a chondroitin sulfate coating for Golgi targeting. By leveraging neutrophil hitchhiking, it enables targeted delivery to infection sites. Under ultrasound stimulation, CS‐BT@MZ@NEs generates ROS and modulates Golgi pH to activate cGAS–STING ...

Metasurface‐Enabled Active‐Like Passive Radar

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A programmable space‐time‐coding metasurface embeds distinct spatiotemporal tags into ambient wireless signals, allowing passive radar to operate in an active‐like manner. By enabling code‐correlated reconstruction under interference, the approach supports robust real‐time UAV tracking in complex environments and points to intelligent, low‐power ...

A Data‐Driven Inverse Design Methodology for Magnetic Soft Millirobots Navigating in Confined Spaces

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A data‐efficient inverse design framework automates the optimization of magnetic soft millirobots for confined‐space navigation. Integrating a physics‐based Cosserat rod model with Bayesian optimization efficiently identifies high‐performance geometries.

Cardiovascular physiology in space flight

Experimental Gerontology, 1991
The effects of space flight on the cardiovascular system have been studied since the first manned flights. In several instances, the results from these investigations have directly contradicted the predictions based on established models. Results suggest associations between space flight's effects on other organ systems and those on the cardiovascular ...

Space flight and oxidative stress

Nutrition, 2002
Space flight is associated with an increase in oxidative stress after return to 1g. The effect is more pronounced after long-duration space flight. The effects lasts for several weeks after landing. In humans there is increased lipid peroxidation in erythrocyte membranes, reduction in some blood antioxidants, and increased urinary excretion of 8-iso ...

Immune Responses in Space Flight

International Journal of Sports Medicine, 1998
Space flight has been shown to have profound effects on immunological parameters of humans, monkeys and rodents. These studies have been carried out by a number of different laboratories. Among the parameters affected are leukocyte blastogenesis, natural killer cell activity, leukocyte subset distribution, cytokine production - including interferons ...
