Canadian Space Geodesy Forum

open access: yesEos, Transactions American Geophysical Union, 1993
The Canadian Space Geodesy Forum (CANSPACE) is an electronic communications‐based information dissemination and discussion group that was established several years ago to help improve communication among scientists and engineers working with space geodesy techniques. News, comments, questions, and answers are exchanged among forum participants by means

TreeSpider: In‐Canopy Exploration With Tether‐Based Aerial Modular Arms

open access: yesAdvanced Robotics Research, EarlyView.
A tethered drone with perching arms and a 360° ring enables unprecedented maneuverability within dense forest canopies. By dynamically adjusting tether length and decoupling pitch from the frame, it navigates between branches, senses multiple trees, and interacts physically with foliage.

Space-Time Reference with an Optical Link

open access: yes, 2015
We describe a method for realizing a high-performance Space-Time Reference (STR) using a stable atomic clock in a precisely defined orbit and synchronizing the orbiting clock to high-accuracy atomic clocks on the ground.

Sleep Alters the Velocity of Physiological Brain Pulsations in Humans

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Sleep alters I/CSF oscillatory flow, driven by increased respiratory (29%) and vasomotor pulsation (21%) velocities, while cardiovascular pulsations decreased by (22%). Velocity is quantified using optical flow analysis of MREG data. Spectral power increases alongside these pulsations (spatial correlation, r = 0.35 and r = 0.39, respectively ...

Integrated Single‐Cell and Spatial Transcriptomics Reveal Cell‐Type‐Specific Immune Regulatory Networks in Maize Responding to Southern Corn Rust

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
By integrating single‐nuclei and spatial transcriptomics, this study presents a stereoscopic landscape of maize leaf to Puccinia polysora infection. Epidermal and mesophyll cells initiate primary defenses via RLPs/RLKs and jasmonic acid signaling. Cell‐cell communication analyses further reveal the underlying the dynamics of the underlying immune ...
