Space networking interacting in space communication networks
2000 IEEE Aerospace Conference. Proceedings (Cat. No.00TH8484), 2002Space missions always required reliable transfer of data between space and ground. We address the issue of enabling computational technologies addressing both the requirements of communicating at a higher level of abstraction between heterogeneous ground and on-board systems and the requirements of space communication protocol standards.

Mathematics of the USSR-Sbornik, 1971
In this paper, difference analogs of Sobolev–Slobodeckiĭ spaces are studied: , where is either the whole space or a halfspace. One obtains difference analogs of imbedding theorems, on traces and on extensions of network functions from a halfspace to the whole space with preservation of class. Bibliography: 19 items.

As the landscape for communication changes with new and evolving digital technologies, the format for college composition classrooms must change and adapt as well. If we are moving towards compositions that are created by and mediated through a screen, we must adopt new approaches for talking about and teaching these new forms of language and ...

Networking in Space Terrestrial Integrated Networks
2019 18th International Conference on Optical Communications and Networks (ICOCN), 2019The space terrestrial integrated network connects the Internet, mobile communication network and other terrestrial networks through a space-based network, which is an important way to achieve global network coverage. However, different technologies, standards, and protocols make it difficult to interconnect space-based networks and terrestrial networks.

Feedback network with space-invariant coupling
SPIE Proceedings, 1990Processing images by a neural network means performing a repeated sequence of operations on the images. The sequence consists of a general linear transformation and a nonlinear mapping of pixel intensities. The general (shift variant) linear transformation is time consuming for large images if done with a serial computer.

Analysis of Space-Space-Space Clos-Network Packet Switch
2009 Proceedings of 18th International Conference on Computer Communications and Networks, 2009The throughput of a packet switch is a major switch property, and therefore, of major interest to analyze it. An approximation of the throughput of a staged random selection algorithm with a single iteration under uniform for a three-stage Clos-network packet switch, also called a Space- Space-Space (S 3 ) Clos-network packet switch, has been recently ...

Space-time sharing optical neural network
Optical Society of America Annual Meeting, 1990The massive interconnection and parallel operation in an optical neural network (ONN) require a high-resolution, large-dynamic-range spatial light modulator (SLM) for the construction of the interconnectionweight matrix (IWM). However, the resolution of currently available SLM's is limited, and this is a major obstacle in the development of a large ...

Free space optical wireless network
2011 13th International Conference on Transparent Optical Networks, 2011This talk explore an over the air optical wireless network and to create a network architecture for reliable high data rate free space optical networks that can interoperate with traditional wired and fiber networks. These networks will have significant impact for applications between ships, airborne vehicles, satellites and land-based cloud computing ...
