A three-dimensional backward-wave network matched with free space

open access: yes, 2007
A backward-wave slab based on a capacitively and inductively loaded three-dimensional transmission-line network is designed in such a way that impedance-matching with free space is obtained.

Reciprocal control of viral infection and phosphoinositide dynamics

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Phosphoinositides, although scarce, regulate key cellular processes, including membrane dynamics and signaling. Viruses exploit these lipids to support their entry, replication, assembly, and egress. The central role of phosphoinositides in infection highlights phosphoinositide metabolism as a promising antiviral target.

SDN resolve space-ground integrated network based on end side computing

open access: yesDianxin kexue, 2020
There is a complex network structure of space-ground integrated network. And this kind of network has heterogeneous network, dynamic topology, intermittently connected node height exposure, and so on.There are many limitations in traditional SDN ...

The newfound relationship between extrachromosomal DNAs and excised signal circles

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Extrachromosomal DNAs (ecDNAs) contribute to the progression of many human cancers. In addition, circular DNA by‐products of V(D)J recombination, excised signal circles (ESCs), have roles in cancer progression but have largely been overlooked. In this Review, we explore the roles of ecDNAs and ESCs in cancer development, and highlight why these ...

Spatial Network Resource Scheduling Based on Joint MPTCP with SDN for SDN/NFV Architecture

open access: yes天地一体化信息网络, 2020
The space network is mainly composed of satellite networks of various architectures with many network nodes.Compared with the ground network, the nodes in the satellite network are diff cult to observe and control, and the network equipment is extremely ...

Principled Multilayer Network Embedding

open access: yes, 2017
Multilayer network analysis has become a vital tool for understanding different relationships and their interactions in a complex system, where each layer in a multilayer network depicts the topological structure of a group of nodes corresponding to a ...

Cell wall target fragment discovery using a low‐cost, minimal fragment library

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
LoCoFrag100 is a fragment library made up of 100 different compounds. Similarity between the fragments is minimized and 10 different fragments are mixed into a single cocktail, which is soaked to protein crystals. These crystals are analysed by X‐ray crystallography, revealing the binding modes of the bound fragment ligands.

Hippocampal Volumetric Changes in Astronauts Following a Mission in the International Space Station

open access: yesNeuroSci
(1) Background: Evidence from non-human animal and spaceflight analog studies have suggested that traveling to outer space could have a significant impact on the structural properties of the hippocampus, a brain region within the medial temporal lobe ...
