Two-Vector Spaces and Groupoids [PDF]
The paper is a specification of the groupoidification program of Baez and Dolan. The author uses the Kapranov-Voevodsky definition of a two vectorspace: 2-vectors are \(k\)-tuples of vector spaces, direct sum is addition and tensor product is multiplication.

Protocol for quantifying miRNA trafficking across the endosomal membrane
An in vitro protocol measures miRNA uptake into endosomes isolated from mammalian cell extracts, which are free of subcellular contaminants. Performed at 37 °C in the presence of ATP, it ensures the import of single‐stranded miRNA into the endosomal lumen.

ABSTRACT Background and Objectives Multiple sclerosis (MS) exhibits racially disparate rates of disease progression. Black people with MS (B‐PwMS) experience a more severe disease course than non‐Hispanic White people with MS (NHW‐PwMS). Here we investigated structural and functional connectivity as well as structure–function decoupling in the ...

Developmental and Epileptic Encephalopathy due to Biallelic Pathogenic Variants in PIGM
ABSTRACT Objective PIGM encodes a critical enzyme in the glycosylphosphatidylinositol (GPI)‐anchor biosynthesis pathway. While promoter‐region mutations in PIGM have been associated with a relatively mild phenotype characterized by portal vein thrombosis and absence seizures, recent evidence suggests that coding‐region mutations result in a more severe

Intersection Theorems for Vector Spaces
Let \(b\) be a positive integer, \({\mathcal F}=\{F_1,\ldots, F_m\}^a \) collection of \(k\)-dimensional subspaces of an \(n\)-dimensional vector space over a finite field \(K\). Let there exist numbers \(\mu_1,\ldots, \mu_s\) with \(k\not\equiv \mu_i \pmod b\), \(1\leq t\leq s\), and for all \(i,j\) with \(1\leq ...

Deep Learning Pose Estimation for Phenotyping of Co‐Occurring Hyperkinetic Movement Disorders
ABSTRACT Objective To explore whether routine outpatient video combined with deep learning‐based pose estimation and clinically interpretable kinematic features can support multi‐label phenotyping of co‐occurring hyperkinetic movement disorders (HMDs).

Gravity‐Dependent Modulation of Downbeat Nystagmus: Insights From Velocity‐Storage Dysfunction
ABSTRACT Objective Downbeat nystagmus varies with head position, a phenomenon termed gravity‐dependent modulation. We aimed to clarify its mechanism using a velocity‐storage model. Methods In 10 patients with downbeat nystagmus due to cerebellar disorders, we recorded eye movements at different pitch‐ and roll‐axis head positions.

A Q‐Learning Algorithm to Solve the Two‐Player Zero‐Sum Game Problem for Nonlinear Systems
A Q‐learning algorithm to solve the two‐player zero‐sum game problem for nonlinear systems. ABSTRACT This paper deals with the two‐player zero‐sum game problem, which is a bounded L2$$ {L}_2 $$‐gain robust control problem. Finding an analytical solution to the complex Hamilton‐Jacobi‐Issacs (HJI) equation is a challenging task.
