Comparison of Different Fruit Shapes of Lanxangia tsaoko: Differences and Relevance of Phenotypes, Antioxidant Activities, and Physicochemical Information

open access: yesFood Science &Nutrition, Volume 14, Issue 7, July 2026.
This study selected three fruit types of LT, including PCS, ES, and LFS. We examined the phenotypes and physicochemical components, volatile substances, non‐volatile substances, and FT‐NIRS characteristics of the three fruit types. Based on FT‐NIRS, an SVM model was established for the rapid identification of LT fruit types.

Neural Markers of Interocular Grouping During Binocular Rivalry With MEG

open access: yesHuman Brain Mapping, Volume 47, Issue 10, July 2026.
Frequency‐tagged MEG revealed distinct neural correlates during binocular rivalry and interocular grouping. BR evoked stronger dominant responses, whereas grouping conditions showed comparable patterns during suppression. Notably, higher‐order intermodulation frequencies were enhanced in the visual cortex during IOG.

Wired for Corruption: Inter‐Brain Synchrony Encodes Bribery‐Related Value Information and Predicts Bribery Agreement

open access: yesAnnals of the New York Academy of Sciences, Volume 1561, Issue 1, July 2026.
The present study examined the computational and neural mechanisms of bribery decision‐making by integrating a novel dyadic behavioral paradigm, computational modeling, and fNIRS hyperscanning. Both bribers and power‐holders exhibited similar moral‐profit tradeoffs during bribery decision‐making. Interneural synchrony in the bilateral prefrontal cortex

Mechanisms and integrative machine learning approaches to blood–brain barrier biomarker profiling for personalized ischemic stroke management

open access: yesPhysiological Reports, Volume 14, Issue 13, July 2026.
Abstract Ischemic stroke remains a leading cause of death and disability worldwide, with blood–brain barrier (BBB) disruption playing a central role in vasogenic edema, neuroinflammation, hemorrhagic transformation, and secondary neuronal injury. The BBB is a specialized neurovascular unit composed of endothelial tight junctions, pericytes, astrocytes,
