Oxygen and Air Density Retrieval Method for Single-Band Stellar Occultation Measurement

open access: yesRemote Sensing
The stellar occultation technique is capable of atmospheric trace gas detection using the molecule absorption characteristics of the stellar spectra. In this paper, the non-iterative and iterative retrieval methods for oxygen and air density detection by

Hydrogen‐Bond–Driven Ion Retention in Electrolyte‐Gated Synaptic Transistors

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Anion molecular design governs ion–polymer interactions in electrolyte‐gated synaptic transistors. Asymmetric anions induce hydrogen‐bond interactions that suppress ion back‐diffusion and stabilize doping, enabling enhanced nonvolatile synaptic properties.

Linking long-term switchback variability at 1 au to solar-surface mechanisms: A 27-year statistical study

open access: yesAstronomy & Astrophysics
Context. Switchbacks–transient, large-angle deflections of the interplanetary magnetic field–pervade the solar wind, yet their origin remains disputed. Current ex situ theories, notably coronal jets and interchange reconnection, are typically tested on ...

Polymer Interface Enables Reversible Quasi‐Solid Sulfur Conversion in Sodium‐Sulfur Batteries

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
The polymer interface enables a stable quasi‐solid sulfur conversion pathway in room‐temperature Na─S batteries. The coating regulates Na+ transport, stabilizes the cathode–electrolyte interphase, and accommodates mechanical stress, suppressing electrolyte decomposition and sulfur migration, thereby improving reaction uniformity, reducing polarization,

China's Ground‐Based Space Environment Monitoring Network—Chinese Meridian Project (CMP)

open access: yesSpace Weather
Monitoring and investigation of the solar‐terrestrial space environment is a huge challenge for humans in space age. To this end, China has established the Ground‐based Space Environment Monitoring Network, namely Chinese Meridian Project (CMP).

Deep space communications, weather effects, and error control [PDF]

open access: yes
Deep space telemetry is and will remain signal-to-noise limited and vulnerable to interference. A need exists to increase received signal power and decrease noise. This includes going to Ka-band in the mid-1990's to increase directivity. The effects of a

Coagulative Granular Hydrogels with an Enzyme Catalyzed Fibrin Network for Endogenous Tissue Regeneration

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
Coagulative granular hydrogels are composed of packed thrombin‐functionalized microgels that catalyze the conversion of fibrinogen into a secondary fibrin network, filling the interstitial voids. This bio‐inspired approach stabilizes the biomaterial to match the robustness of bulk hydrogels without compromising injectability, mimicking the initial ...
