Mappings between Banach spaces that preserve convergence of series
We know that a numerical series is absolutely convergent, if, and only if, it is unconditionally convergent. Dvoretzky and Rogers proved in 1950 that in any infinite dimensional Banach space there are unconditionally convergent series not absolutely ...

Banach spaces of homogeneous polynomials without the approximation property [PDF]
summary:We present simple proofs that spaces of homogeneous polynomials on $L_{p}[0,1]$ and $\ell _{p}$ provide plenty of natural examples of Banach spaces without the approximation property.

Coloring and density theorems for configurations of a given volume
Abstract This is a treatise on finite point configurations spanning a fixed volume to be found in a single color‐class of an arbitrary finite (measurable) coloring of the Euclidean space Rn$\mathbb {R}^n$, or in a single large measurable subset A⊆Rn$A\subseteq \mathbb {R}^n$.

Factorization of strongly (p,sigma)-continuous multilinear operators [PDF]
We introduce the new ideal of strongly-continuous linear operators in order to study the adjoints of the -absolutely continuous linear operators. Starting from this ideal we build a new multi-ideal by using the composition method.

Jordan homomorphisms and T‐ideals
Abstract Let A$A$ and B$B$ be associative algebras over a field F$F$ with char(F)≠2${\rm char}(F)\ne 2$. Our first main result states that if A$A$ is unital and equal to its commutator ideal, then every Jordan epimorphism φ:A→B$\varphi:A\rightarrow B$ is the sum of a homomorphism and an antihomomorphism. Our second main result concerns (not necessarily

Partial Observability of Implied Volatility Matrices: Identification and Covolatilities Filtering
ABSTRACT Whereas data on implied volatilities are available for a large number of assets, this is less frequently the case of implied covolatilities. We introduce a new approach based on static and dynamic Wishart models to solve this problem of missing data.

Splitting the difference: Computations of the Reynolds operator in classical invariant theory
Abstract If G$G$ is a linearly reductive group acting rationally on a polynomial ring S$S$, then the inclusion SG↪S$S^{G} \hookrightarrow S$ possesses a unique G$G$‐equivariant splitting, called the Reynolds operator. We describe algorithms for computing the Reynolds operator for the classical actions as in Weyl's book.

Integral polynomials on Banach spaces not containing $\ell _1$ [PDF]
summary:We give new characterizations of Banach spaces not containing $\ell _1$ in terms of integral and $p$-dominated polynomials, extending to the polynomial setting a result of Cardassi and more recent results of ...
