Spin‐Spacetime Censorship [PDF]
AbstractQuantum entanglement and relativistic causality are key concepts in theoretical works seeking to unify quantum mechanics and gravity. In this article, a gedanken experiment that couples the spin to spacetime is proposed, and is then analyzed in the context of quantum information by using different approaches to quantum gravity.

A spacetime group is a connected 4-dimensional Lie group G endowed with a left invariant Lorentz metric h such that the connected component of the isometry group of h is G itself. The Newman–Penrose formalism is used to give an algebraic classification of spacetime groups, that is, we determine a complete list of inequivalent spacetime Lie algebras ...

The possibility has been recently demonstrated to manufacture (nonrelativistic, Hamiltonian) many-body problems which feature an isochronous time evolution with an arbitrarily assigned period $T$ yet mimic with good approximation, or even exactly, any given many-body problem (within a quite large class, encompassing most of nonrelativistic physics ...

Projective spacetime symmetry of spacetime crystals
AbstractWigner’s seminal work on the Poincaré group revealed one of the fundamental principles of quantum theory: symmetry groups are projectively represented. The condensed-matter counterparts of the Poincaré group could be the spacetime groups of periodically driven crystals or spacetime crystals featuring spacetime periodicity.

We study how the black hole complementarity principle can emerge from quantum gravitational dynamics within a local semiclassical approximation. Further developing and then simplifying a microstate model based on the fragmentation instability of a near ...

From Black Holes Entropy to Consciousness: The Dimensions of the Brain Connectome
It has been shown that the theory of relativity can be applied physically to the functioning brain, so that the brain connectome should be considered as a four-dimensional spacetime entity curved by brain activity, just as gravity curves the four ...

We propose a new event ontology of the world, which is part of a general approach to philosophy based on combining ideas from science, ontology, and the philosophy of nature.

A spacetime derivation of the Lorentzian OPE inversion formula [PDF]
Caron-Huot has recently given an interesting formula that determines OPE data in a conformal field theory in terms of a weighted integral of the four-point function over a Lorentzian region of cross-ratio space.

Black hole shadow in a general rotating spacetime obtained through Newman-Janis algorithm [PDF]
The Newman-Janis (NJ) algorithm has been extensively used in the literature to generate rotating black hole solutions from nonrotating seed spacetimes.
