Soft edges: the many links between soft and edge modes
Boundaries in gauge theory and gravity give rise to symmetries and charges at both finite and asymptotic distance. Due to their structural similarities, it is often held that soft modes are some kind of asymptotic limit of edge modes.

Solitons and geometrical structures in a perfect fluid spacetime [PDF]
Geometrical aspects of a perfect fluid spacetime are described in terms of different curvature tensors and $\eta$-Ricci and $\eta$-Einstein solitons in a perfect fluid spacetime are determined.

Universal Entanglement and an Information‐Complete Quantum Theory
This Perspective summarize an informationcomplete quantum theory which describes a fully quantum world without any classical systems and concepts. Here spacetime/gravity, having to be a physical quantum system, universally entangles matter (matter fermions and their gauge fields) as an indivisible trinity, and encodes information‐complete physical ...

Generalized axisymmetric spacetimes [PDF]
Properties of space-times admitting a two parameter abelian symmetry group acting on a null two-surface are investigated. Within this framework, a class of new solutions of Einstein's vacuum equations are found. Some analogies with the theory of black hole are pointed out.

Gravitational entropy is observer-dependent
In quantum gravity, it has been argued that a proper accounting of the role played by an observer promotes the von Neumann algebra of observables in a given spacetime subregion from Type III to Type II.

Fundamental U-Theory of Time. Part 1 [PDF]
The Fundamental U-Theory of Time (Part 1) is an original theory that aims to unravel the mystery of what exactly is ‘time’. To date very few explanations, from the branches of physics or cosmology, have succeeded to provide an accurate and comprehensive ...

Gravity from transactions: fulfilling the entropic gravity program
This is a comprehensive review of new developments in entropic gravity in light of the Relativistic Transactional Interpretation (RTI). A transactional approach to spacetime events can give rise in a natural way to entropic gravity (in the way originally

Levels of Spacetime Emergence in Quantum Gravity [PDF]
We explore the issue of spacetime emergence in quantum gravity by articulating several levels at which this can be intended. These levels correspond to the reconstruction moves that are needed to recover the classical and continuum notion of space and ...

Crossed products and quantum reference frames: on the observer-dependence of gravitational entropy
A significant step towards a rigorous understanding of perturbative gravitational entropy was recently achieved by a series of works showing that a proper accounting of gauge invariance and observer degrees of freedom converts the Type III algebra of QFT
