Geodesic completeness and the lack of strong singularities in effective loop quantum Kantowski-Sachs spacetime

open access: yes, 2016
Resolution of singularities in the Kantowski-Sachs model due to non-perturbative quantum gravity effects is investigated. Using the effective spacetime description for the improved dynamics version of loop quantum Kantowski-Sachs spacetimes, we show that

Spinning particle geometries in AdS3/CFT2

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics
We study spinning particle/defect geometries in the context of AdS3/CFT2. These solutions lie below the BTZ threshold, and can be obtained from identifications of AdS3.

Causally Simple Spacetimes and Naked Singularities

open access: yesIranian Journal of Science
In this paper, We prove a conjecture which states that if M is a nakedly singular future boundary or nakedly singular past boundary spacetime, then the space of null geodesics, N, is non-Hausdorff. Also, we show that every two-dimensional strongly causal spacetime M is causally simple if and only if it is null pseudoconvex.

A Brief Review of Wormhole Cosmic Censorship

open access: yesAxioms
Spacetime singularities, in the sense that curvature invariants are infinite at some point or region, are thought to be impossible to observe, and must be hidden within an event horizon.

Mixmaster chaos in an AdS black hole interior

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics
We derive gravitational backgrounds that are asymptotically Anti-de Sitter, have a regular black hole horizon and which deep in the interior exhibit mixmaster chaotic dynamics.

The Topology of Branching Universes [PDF]

open access: yes, 2005
The purpose of this paper is to survey the possible topologies of branching space-times, and, in particular, to refute the popular notion in the literature that a branching space-time requires a non-Hausdorff ...

Classical theory of singularities [PDF]

open access: yes, 2019
The singularities from the general relativity resulting by solving Einstein's equations were and still are the subject of many scientific debates: Are there singularities in spacetime, or not? Big Bang was an initial singularity?
