Effect of Beam Length on Bond-Dependent Coefficient (kb) value for GFRP reinforced beams [PDF]
This study investigates the influence of beam span length on the bond-dependent coefficient (kb) for GFRP-reinforced concrete beams—a key parameter in predicting crack widths under service loads. Design codes such as ACI 440.1R and CSA S806 adopt a fixed

Mg–Zn composites with a thickness of 0.21 mm were fabricated using roll bonding of a kirigami‐patterned Mg alloy inlay within a Zn matrix. Thermal activation following this process led to the formation of tailored intermetallic structures, which provided the composite with enhanced flexural strength.

Selection parameters for improving the seed cotton yield and fibre quality traits in American Cotton (Gossypium hirsutum L.) [PDF]
Information on the influence of different yield components on improvement of yield will be crucial in any selectionprogramme. Four intra-hirsutum hybrids viz., TCH1452 x MCU5, TCH1628 x Gh493, TCH1628 x MCU5 and SVPR2 xMCU5 were developed by utilizing ...

Karl Popper and the Mechanisms of Hydrogen Embrittlement
Representation of the beginning of loss of ductility rather than embrittlement. Small concentrations of hydrogen in a diffusible form within iron are well‐established to harm the mechanical integrity of steels. There are theories that attempt to explain the pernicious role of hydrogen.
