Representations of Francoism in contemporary Spanish crime fiction
In last years the Spanish crime novel has undergone a series of transformations, among which stands out its tendency to hybridize with other literary genres. Within this tendency to hybridization, we find one of the most fertile aspects of the current Spanish crime novel, consisting of the combination of a crime plot with a historical setting.
