Laboratory-acquired brucellosis: a Spanish national survey
Journal of Hospital Infection, 2005A retrospective postal survey was carried out among 1240 clinical microbiology laboratory workers in Spain. Overall, 75 (43 microbiologists and 32 technicians) had suffered from laboratory-acquired brucellosis (LAB). Considering the total number of replies (N=628), the rate of LAB was 11.9%.
