Mechanisms of near‐normal sea water dolomitisation: Mesohaline‐reflux or syn‐depositional?
This study investigates the dolomitisation of the Eocene Dammam Formation on the Arabian Plate using petrographic, mineralogical, geochemical and isotopic analyses. The findings reveal two distinct dolomite types, formed primarily through normal‐to‐mesohaline sea water dolomitisation, challenging previous models such as sabkha‐meteoric mixing.

Abstract As tunnel construction advances in lengths and depths, the construction of tunnels in high geothermal environments has become increasingly common, raising significant fire risks. In this study, a 1:20 scale model tunnel test platform was constructed to investigate the effects of a high geothermal environment on fire behavior in tunnels during ...

The spiral conical perforations generated during methane in situ explosion fracturing operations lead to tensile fracture propagation in shale reservoirs being governed by the combined effects of impact pressure, bedding, and aperture under explosive loading. Using multiple regression analysis and digital image correlation technology, the mechanisms of

Dopant Engineering in Perovskite Cathodes for Efficient CO2 Electrolysis
By doping Zn2+ into Sr2FexMo1‐xO6‐δ and creating highly active frustrated Lewis pairs with abundant oxygen vacancies in the perovskite, a highly efficient SOEC cathode is developed, resulting in a current density of up to −1.85 A cm−2 at 800 °C under a bias voltage of 1.5 V during CO2 electrolysis, marking the highest value reported for pure perovskite
