Parallel Sparse Matrix-Matrix Multiplication
The thesis investigates the BLAS-3 routine of sparse matrix-matrix multiplication (SpGEMM) based on the outer product method. Sev- eral algorithmic approaches have been implemented and empirically an- alyzed. The experiments have shown that an algorithm presented by Gustavson [22] outperforms other alternatives.

Partitioning Models for Scaling Parallel Sparse Matrix-Matrix Multiplication [PDF]
We investigate outer-product--parallel, inner-product--parallel, and row-by-row-product--parallel formulations of sparse matrix-matrix multiplication (SpGEMM) on distributed memory architectures. For each of these three formulations, we propose a hypergraph model and a bipartite graph model for distributing SpGEMM computations based on one-dimensional (

Skew-sparse matrix multiplication
Based on the observation that $\mathbb{Q}^{(p-1) \times (p-1)}$ is isomorphic to a quotient skew polynomial ring, we propose a new method for $(p-1)\times (p-1)$ matrix multiplication over $\mathbb{Q}$, where $p$ is a prime number. The main feature of our method is the acceleration for matrix multiplication if the product is skew-sparse.

Additive Gaussian Process Regression for Predictive Design of High‐Performance, Printable Silicones
A chemistry‐aware design framework for tuning printable polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) for vat photopolymerization (VPP) is developed using additive Gaussian process (GP) modeling. Polymer network mechanics informs variable groupings, feasible formulation constraints, and interaction variables.
