Trends and Future Directions in Organic Chemistry for Drug Discovery

open access: yesChemistry – A European Journal, EarlyView.
Organic synthesis is being reshaped by the convergence of catalytic innovation, automation, artificial intelligence, and emerging therapeutic modalities. Late‐stage functionalization, photoredox and electrochemical methods, biocatalysis, flow chemistry, DELs, and proximity‐based drugs are examined as components of closed‐loop discovery.

Accelerating Frequency Response Measurements Through Sparse Data‐Driven Reconstruction Using the Loewner Framework

open access: yesChemie Ingenieur Technik, EarlyView.
Frequency response analysis is vital for electrochemical diagnostics but inherently time‐consuming. By building state‐space models from sparse frequency samples, the Loewner framework accurately reconstructs transfer functions and distribution of relaxation times (DRT), drastically cutting testing time without sacrificing accuracy.

Learning sparse mixture‐of‐experts generalized linear models in ultrahigh dimensions

open access: yesCanadian Journal of Statistics, EarlyView.
Abstract Motivated by the challenges of heterogeneity and high dimensionality in the analysis of modern data, we investigate continuous regularization methods for learning sparse mixture‐of‐experts generalized linear models (MoE‐GLM). Although there are foundational results about regularized estimators in a broad class of regression models including ...

Non‐Invasive Estimation of Systemic Drug Exposure Using Exhaled Breath Metabolomics in Humans: A Translational Proof‐of‐Concept Study

open access: yesClinical Pharmacology &Therapeutics, EarlyView.
Accurate assessment of systemic drug exposure in humans remains challenging, as conventional approaches rely on intermittent blood sampling and laboratory‐based assays that are invasive and provide limited temporal resolution. Exhaled breath contains volatile and semi‐volatile compounds arising from drug metabolism and downstream biological processes ...

The Influence of Ethical Ideologies on Corporate Social Performance in Small and Medium‐Sized Enterprises in the United Kingdom

open access: yesCorporate Social Responsibility and Environmental Management, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Research addressing the microfoundations of corporate social performance (CSP) in small and medium‐sized enterprises (SMEs) remains sparse. This paper aims to investigate how SME managers' ethical ideology affects CSP and examines the mediating role of their CSR orientation (CSRO): economic, legal, ethical, and philanthropic.
