Frequency-broadening method of seismic data based on sparse reconstruction inversion strategy
To broaden the effective frequency bandwidth of seismic data and enhance its resolution, we investigate the high-resolution reconstruction method grounded in compressed sensing sparse theory, utilizing the characteristics of sparse decomposition of ...

ECG Baseline Estimation and Denoising With Group Sparse Regularization
Baseline wander (BW) and electrocardiogram (ECG) noise reduction play an important role in ECG data analysis and disease diagnosis. This article introduces a sparse optimization method, which takes into account the group sparse characteristics of the ...

Tumors contain diverse cellular states whose behavior is shaped by context‐dependent gene coordination. By comparing gene–gene relationships across biological contexts, we identify adaptive transcriptional modules that reorganize into distinct vulnerability axes.

Sparse recovery by non-convex optimization – instance optimality
In this note, we address the theoretical properties of $ _p$, a class of compressed sensing decoders that rely on $\ell^p$ minimization with ...

Optimizing sparse fermionic Hamiltonians
We consider the problem of approximating the ground state energy of a fermionic Hamiltonian using a Gaussian state. In sharp contrast to the dense case [1, 2], we prove that strictly q-local sparse fermionic Hamiltonians have a constant Gaussian approximation ratio; the result holds for any connectivity and interaction strengths.

Here, we demonstrate that HS1BP3 interacts with Cortactin through a proline‐rich region (PRR3.1) and show that this interaction, and HS1BP3 itself, promote cancer cell proliferation and invasion. Inhibition of this interaction leads to build‐up of TKS5 in multivesicular endosomes and altered secretion of CD63 and CD9, providing an explanation for the ...

On a class of optimization-based robust estimators
We consider in this paper the problem of estimating a parameter matrix from observations which are affected by two types of noise components: (i) a sparse noise sequence which, whenever nonzero can have arbitrarily large amplitude (ii) and a dense and ...

This protocol paper outlines methods to establish the success of a time‐resolved serial crystallographic experiment, by means of statistical analysis of timepoint data in reciprocal space and models in real space. We show how to amplify the signal from excited states to visualise structural changes in successful experiments.
