Adult‐Onset Subacute Sclerosing Panencephalitis Presenting With Subacute Cognitive Deficits

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT We describe the case of a 41‐year‐old man diagnosed with adult‐onset subacute sclerosing panencephalitis (SSPE). The patient presented with subacute progressive cognitive deficits and a neuropsychological profile indicating predominant frontoparietal dysfunction. MRI showed only mild parietal‐predominant cerebral atrophy.

Recovery of Block-Structured Sparse Signal Using Block-Sparse Adaptive Algorithms via Dynamic Grouping

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2018
A key point for the recovery of a block-sparse signal is how to treat the different sparsity distributed on the different parts of the considered signal.

A Novel Learned Primal-Dual Network for Image Compressive Sensing

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2021
As an important theory of sparse signal recovery, Compressive Sensing (CS) optimization methods usually produce good performance when the signal is sparse in some transform domains.

An Asynchronous Parallel Approach to Sparse Recovery

open access: yes, 2017
Asynchronous parallel computing and sparse recovery are two areas that have received recent interest. Asynchronous algorithms are often studied to solve optimization problems where the cost function takes the form $\sum_{i=1}^M f_i(x)$, with a common ...

Development of a Prediction Model for Progression Risk in High‐Grade Gliomas Based on Habitat Radiomics and Pathomics

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective To investigate the value of constructing models based on habitat radiomics and pathomics for predicting the risk of progression in high‐grade gliomas. Methods This study conducted a retrospective analysis of preoperative magnetic resonance (MR) images and pathological sections from 72 patients diagnosed with high‐grade gliomas (52 ...

Pruning-Based Sparse Recovery for Electrocardiogram Reconstruction from Compressed Measurements

open access: yesSensors, 2017
Due to the necessity of the low-power implementation of newly-developed electrocardiogram (ECG) sensors, exact ECG data reconstruction from the compressed measurements has received much attention in recent years.

Effectiveness of rTMS on Working Memory and Inhibitory Impairments in Patients With Post‐Stroke Executive Deficits

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective Considerable efforts have been dedicated to developing effective treatments for post‐stroke executive impairment (PSEI), among which repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation (rTMS) has shown great potential. This study aimed to investigate the therapeutic effects of high‐frequency rTMS on working memory (WM) and response ...

Recoverability analysis for modified compressive sensing with partially known support.

open access: yesPLoS ONE, 2014
The recently proposed modified-compressive sensing (modified-CS), which utilizes the partially known support as prior knowledge, significantly improves the performance of recovering sparse signals.

A note on orthogonal matching pursuit under restricted isometry property

open access: yesIET Signal Processing, 2022
The orthogonal matching pursuit (OMP) algorithm is a classical greedy algorithm widely used in compressed sensing. The number of iterations required for the OMP algorithm to perform exact the recovery of sparse signals is a fundamental problem in signal ...

Risk of Retinopathy Associated with Long‐Term Use of Hydroxychloroquine in Patients with Rheumatic Diseases: A Systematic Review and Meta‐Analysis

open access: yesArthritis Care &Research, Accepted Article.
Objective We aimed to estimate the prevalence and cumulative incidence of hydroxychloroquine retinopathy (HCQ‐R) and its risk factors among long‐term HCQ users with rheumatic diseases through a systematic review and meta‐analysis of observational studies that used spectral‐domain OCT (SD‐OCT) for screening. Methods A systematic search of PubMed, Scopus,
